Engineers’ Steam Certificate of Competency Dear Abdul Hadi, just share my experiences and hope you find it useful. 1) Read up Factory & Machinery Acts 1967 and factory and machinery regulations 1970 especially those chapters relating to operation and maintenance of steam boilers and unfired pressure vessels. 2) practical experiences on procedures of commission a steam boiler and unfired pressure vessels. 3) practical experiences on procedures of repair and annual inspection of steam boilers and unfired pressure vessels. 4) I believe questions will be ask on OSHA acts 1994. 5) Questions on safety and health regulations subsequent to OSHA 1994 could be ask especially HIRARC 08 regulations. 6) theories on material science, workshop technology and others you have gone through formally in university or college. Thanks.
