Thank you all for your feedback and ideas. Just like Wesley, I can only process at about 50% of my usual capacity with the boiler operating at 100 psig. Is it possible to process up to my rated capacity by using steam from the boiler through the bypass line into the BPR?

@Ching Seong Tan Thank you for the prompt reply. I have enough diesel power the run the mill. My concern is whether I can get enough process steam for Sterilisation and other heating required in the mill. Can the bypass line from the boiler to the BPR do that? Can I operate the boiler at lower pressure since I will not be running the turbine?

Regarding your reference to the Nut Cracking process. What should be the Nut Cracking efficiency? And the limit to the percentage of broken kernels in the cracked mixture? My supervisor suspects the problem may be due to inconsistent feeding to the Ripple Mills.

Thank you for the prompt reply. I was referring to Kernel losses in our Shell stockpile which consisted of shell ex LTDS and Wet Shell from Hydrocyclones. We don't have Claybath in our mill. Regarding broken kernels in the Press Cake, I checked and confirmed the broken nuts in Press Cake is about 10% on sample. We also recovery quite a bit of broken kernels at the Nut Polishing Drum. The Kernel losses ex Fibre Cyclone is usually less than 2%. You mentioned good sterilization, how do I know our sterilization is good? Our sterilization is fully automated and our USB less than 1%. What else can I do? Please help.
